Adblock Plus has joined the anti-social media tracking movement by enabling a feature that hides social media share buttons on pages. These are the share buttons you see on the bottom of articles, they are everywhere.
These buttons collect user data and track you interactions. They build “shadow profiles” based on your interactions and the crazy thing is that it does so whether or not you click these share buttons! Even more so, you don’t even need to be logged in to your social media account for it to track you :/
