According to Google’s tool, developers can log in through the Google Development Tool to the new tool and choose one of several visual impairments offered under the option “Emulate vision deficiencies”. When selecting one of the options, the developer will be presented to the page as it appears to users with visual impairments, so that the developer can adapt them to the different users.
For example, one of the options offered is Tritanopia color blindness, which suffers from not being able to properly identify the colors blue and yellow. By viewing the site through their eyes, developers will be able to customize their site so that important elements of the site are in colors that they can identify. This new tool is now available in early beta in Chrome version 82.
